The possibility that pre-Elon Twitter was limiting the reach of conservative tweets was the greatest story in the history of journalism, while a vast network of sex trafficking pedophiles that included billionaires, celebrities and two presidents is just a big yawn.
Sure, sure. Story checks out.

Agreed.
I understand all the arguments against floor-crossing and am familiar with all the research on how voters think about their votes and I do think there's some risk that a government could appear cynical in gaining a majority via floor-crossing.

But I also tend to come back to a few things.

Bring back the carbon tax!
When BC's consumer carbon tax was first introduced, it was accompanied by tax cuts to both personal and corporate taxes to make it revenue-neutral. But when it was eliminated last spring, these tax cuts were not reversed. The result is a $2 billion hole in BC's finances. #BCBudget

The fundamental issue is that zoning was supposed to cover...you know, zones. Entire districts. Consultation, public hearings, that all makes sense in that context. But we have stopped doing that, and instead rely on case-by-case, building-by-building custom zones for individual buildings.

The President, two of his current Cabinet secretaries, his former strategist, his biggest donor, and his pending Fed Chair nominee are all in the files of a pedophile who ran a sex trafficking ring, while the attorney general and a former Cabinet secretary let him get away with it.

Seems kinda bad?

Vaguely recall how Biden admin emails to Twitter were the biggest attack on free speech ever. There was a whole twitter files thing about that.

Curious where are Elon, Taibbi, Bari and crew on this?

This. It would be really, really great if Democrats would start *consistently* calling out the way that the media is led around like f'ing children by the right-wing hate machine.

Don't just accept the frame. Call out the frame. Force viewers to confront the frame. It's so f'ing basic.

I've always said hate needs to be taught.

How do you get cis people to start caring about a group that doesn't oppress them and think that it's not about having equal human rights but is actually about a war on gender itself?

Once again, for the hundredth time: Alberta could solve this with a simple PST. You'd be able to balance the budget *and* save non-renewable resource royalties for the future.

But, of course, the self-appointed "fiscal conservatives" won't entertain the idea. #abpoli

I recommend reading this. It’s beyond the wildest dystopian fictional plot and yet it appears to be true: Epstein seems to be a kind of decoder ring to understand the awful spot we find ourselves in.
"It’s hard not to read these files and come to the conclusion that Epstein helped engineer the ultimate elite impunity — in which our society has been totally destroyed so the richest and most powerful men in the world can do whatever they want."
