Curiously time is "yonks, jiffies, shakes (of lambs tails), moments (mo's) and "half mo's" (for fine tuning)..

Iain we did use "grain, pennyweight and troy ounce" but these were superseded in the 1970s by the drachm and scruples. Of course we now use "heaps, loads, shit loads, fuck loads and Sydney Harbours", lengths are "country miles, kays(klicks), stones throws, fanny hairs, bees dicks and poofteenths"
