I just watched this "Twelth Night." It was spectacular! Lupita is stupendous. Diklage and Sandra Oh too.

Affirmative action bans amplify racial & socioeconomic K-12 inequalities, & the Trump admin is targeting even SES efforts as arguably too aligned with race-conscious efforts. Also, Kahlenberg still fails to understand the research on why SES-only efforts are limited in producing racial diversity.

I'm a bit late to the game on this, but I finally read it and if you haven't done so, do check it out. It is a very thoughtfully kind (yet incisive) examination of where a lot of people on the left are right now, with Ezra Klein and Ta-Nehisi Coates serving as rhetorical poles of sorts.

Another win for the people: Gavin Newsom signed AB288! The law states that if the NLRB fails to respond to petitions to vindicate the rights of workers, then the CA Public Employment Relations Board can take up the matter - this is particularly important for ULPs!
