this story is just nuts.
For @thenation.com and @typeinvestigations.org, I looked into American Landmark, a major landlord filing evictions far more than the national average.

I found they are owned by an Israeli company with ties to the IDF, including during the Gaza genocide. (1/10)

The Eviction Kings
One of Israel’s biggest companies is taking over huge swaths of US real estate—and tenants are paying the price.

Incredible episode... I can't believe I can still be shocked about these things but some of this was even worse than I expected...

@michaelhobbes.bsky.social, this article co-authored with @jean23bean.bsky.social might be of interest on islamo-gauchisme!

also as @liesandperfidy.bsky.social rightly points out, the final graf of this section—"lucky for zohran the dead guy's family was also brown and muslim!"—is extremely gross
a telling part of the nyt take on zohran's win: the insistence that a cop's killing was a "disaster" for his campaign. there has never been any real evidence to support this! but the nyt has a narrative and it refuses to budge. there will be lots more of this to come www.nytimes.com/2025/11/04/n...

the lesson of zohran mamdani walloping one of the most racist campaigns in modern us history on the largest turnout since 1969 is that democrats need to move to the right

Look at this and then think back to how Kamala Harris responded to protestors with "I'm speaking"
A heckler kept yelling about “intifada” & “communism” at Zohran Mamdani’s rally.

Mamdani responds with: “I want you to be able to afford this city too my brother. I want you to be able to call this city home too…We stand together with a vision of a city that has room for every political opinion.”

this literally made me cry. my god, what a person and a campaign.

one last observation: donald trump has never won a majority of the vote and yet the political press treats him like the embodied spirit of the american people. will be interesting to see how they discount mamdani as representing new york if he wins less than a majority.

I wonder if the folks attacking @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social for singling out Israel have noticed that Hindu nationalists loathe him too. Why? Because his opposition to religious, ethnic + racial supremacy is NOT confined to Israel. He's a principled opponent of ethnonationalism, including in India
