An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

This beautiful nerd has finally mastered her potty training and is ready to find her forever home. Scarlett is nearly a year old, about 18 lbs and good with other dogs and with cats. She's gentle and food motivated. New folks make her nervous, but gets used to them quickly. She's a master snuggler.

My colleague, investigating a student for obvious GenAI use, sent me a bibliographical reference to a chapter I'd apparently written in a volume I had apparently edited.

Neither title of course exists. But they were both titles I COULD have written, and he emailed because he felt he had to check.
