This portrayal of 75% of our GDP dependant on US trade is wildly inaccurate. It is ( or has been) 75% of merch trade which is 17% of GDP. Of course it’s an effort to reach our national goal of doubling non-US trade but it’s doable and we’re well on the way.

We have signed 12 trade agreements in 4 continents in 6 months, along with several MOUs, trade agreements in exploration stage, several FIPA agreements and security and defence agreements. All in under a year. 🇨🇦 is moving on.
