“The Comic For People Of Power!”

Dated this very day in 1968, “Smash!” # 106 with a cover of reformatted Batman newspaper strips by, I believe, Whitney Ellsworth & Joe Giella. Inside, among a host of British strips, was a Daredevil/Ka-Zar reprint. And very odd it was to see, Marvel & DC together

As an aspiring comic writers, does anyone know where I can even begin trying to find and land myself an agent?

I have written many scripts and I’m in the process of collaborating with an artist and getting sequential pages drawn up for one of my comic scripts.

It’s definitely more complicated he was popular and a hit but at the same time he wasn’t some institution that was perpetual untouchable
Somebody needs to do a video covering his Batman’s rise to popularity was. Cause we know he wasn’t this breakout hit overnight like DC/WBs like to make it out to be

Welcome to the public domain, THE SKELETON DANCE (1929). 🎞️ 🎶👻 Walt Disney Studios' first Silly Symphony cartoon is a wordless masterpiece of synchronized animation & music featuring dancing skeletons in a graveyard.

So listening to the Blue Beetle radio story "Crime Incorporated" and in the episode there's a bunch of fake Blue Beetles and Dan gets one of these costumes, and the way it's described makes it sound like a chainmail version of The Tick's suit and im adding this suit to the equipment list

Sea Hag, one of Popeye’s most famous nemeses, first appeared in “Thimble Theatre” on December 27, 1929, though she was only glimpsed, as you see here. E.C. Segar was patient, as Sea Hag wasn’t clearly shown until February 1930.
