Between Chadwick Boseman, James Van Der Beek, so many others, and now this, the fact that so many young people have been getting cancer and have to jump through so many hoops just to get treatment is a scathing indictment of the fucked up American healthcare system

When I was first accepted to middle school we had to read 3 books over the summer and write essays on them. Only 2 people actually did it and turns out teachers even forgot about it. Wasted my entire Summer.

Was watching this video about the problem with a lot of modern books and they mentioned that a lot of it has to do with appealing to BookTok. Apparently publishers will even go out of their way to publish books with those with a strong social media presence cause it’s an easy sell.
