It's utterly mad.
These people are the opposite of terrorists.
THEY WANT PEACE.
The police know they're not terrorists.
The government knows they're not terrorists.
Yet, on the Home Secretary's orders, they're being arrested under the Terrorism Act.

Kneecap's Mo Chara is the latest example of how terrorism arrests no longer bear any relationship whatsoever to any actual threat to the British public (and certainly not the audience at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town). Instead they've become the end product of contrived rightwing outrage

WE WON!

The Supreme Court has upheld the right to wild camp on Dartmoor. This is a huge win for access to nature.

But we're just getting started.

It was never just about Dartmoor.

We’re fighting to extend the right to roam, swim, and sleep under the stars - across all of England.

The Supreme Court, most UK institutions, have been captured by the campaign of stochastic terrorism waged by the media and the fascists against our Trans comrades, now defining them out of the Equality Act, as Streeting removes what little there is of trans healthcare in this country. Social murder.

Vigil outside #Cornwall Council to remember more than 17,400 children murdered by Israeli forces in #Gaza. We spoke the names of 100s of dead children.

Last year Cornwall Council appointed the director of an Israeli-owned military equipment company to chair its Economic Forum.

Politics is spoken of as if it has no impact on our bodies, as if backs don’t bend and feet don’t bleed and stomachs don’t grumble and heads don’t spin with every decision made at the seat of power. Hunger and pain is spoken of as bad economies.

A stand-off this morning in Falmouth between residents, police and contractors over the felling of healthy lime trees. Cornwall Council refusing to release the report as to why the trees are being felled. Postponed again due to two protesters climbing the trees after police threatened arrest.

This isn’t allowing access to wind spaces, it is extending the rule of enclosure to those with money to pay for this access. It’s an exclusivity model that continues to separate people from the land. Right to roam means a right to roam for all.

There's a reason that AI is so beloved by fascists right now—like fascism, it tempts us to abandon the complexity of the world for the simplicity of power, & to give up the need to do the difficult but necessary work to understand the world by allowing some authority to impose its own understanding
Even though I've turned this "feature" off, this ghostly prompt shows up every time I start a new document in MSWord and each time if fills me afresh with anger that, if my mood is wrong, edges towards rage. If I smash my computer display seeing someday, I blame @microsoft.com CEO Satya Nadella.

Pandering to Reform UK will backfire — and vulnerable people will pay the price.
