As former Election worker I oppose Minister Goldsmith's propsal to do away with on the day voter enrolments. It goes against #democracy to deny peple votes. Many voters re-enrolled on voting day after finding they'd been removed from the roll. #RightToVote #nzpol

Government considers removing election day voter enrolment
Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith says very few countries allow it, and New Zealand should consider changing the rules.

I concur!
Kia ora Bob, apologies from little Aotearoa where our Foreign Minister has been extremely rude to you and your lovely country.
Please take him to court and take him for everything he has.

I've got EVERYTHING crossed!
Hello Green, TPM, Lab.

You have less than three years to actively attack the right and change public perception. Get on message now.

Do not stick to your usual strategies and talking points. Smarten up. Destroy them.
The left political parties (and Lab) need to hammer to dust the lie that Nat are good with money. Just relentlessly highlight how much they are bungling things fiscally. Excise the lie from the public’s mind and replace with ‘Nat is bad with money and will fuck you over’.

Well done you Gary!
Thank you to all the amazing, eloquent, politically aware school students who turned out to protest for climate justice for giving me strength and inspiration and the space to walk beside you.🥰✊

She was always prepared, concise and there wasnt much that escaped her scrutiny - miss that in a "true leader" PM.

Yet PM Ardern was always over the detail. Had done the work, done the reading, done the analysis, and had given herself substantial portfolio responsibility. Yet now we have this 😳. Unbelievable.

Ae ol mate is totally delusional...thinking one man stations are nothing new...that's what it was like back in his day ffs! head so far up his jacksie. 🤬
If you want to see our joke of a police Minister, watch Sunday on TVNZ plus 1. Omfg. Seriously, he's a joke, and a very very bad one at that. #nzpol

In the interest of quality assurance and the common good of mankind I wish to offer my home as a drop point for these *checks notes* environmentally destructive hideous hideous creatures.🤤😇🤣🤣
Kikorangi: population explosion of kina in Northland ināianei. If you like them, go catch some to help out. Or at least, stop catching lobster, they help eat them.

After the saddest day I've had since my own mum passed away this has allowed me to renew my faith in human nature and a breathe a hearty 'anei to kai"! to that 🤡
So in "What's Happening in Small City New Zealand" today, a guy in a BMW honked a person in a wheelchair getting into a car, outside a hospital. And a nearby construction worker calmly walked over and tipped his lunch of biryani and butter chicken all over the BMWs windscreen. And people clapped.

Loss of a great man😪
This makes me so sad
Efeso was the epitome of who should be in politics.
Kind, empathetic and smart

Yup thanks to decisive well thought out strategies by the Labour Government lead by Jacinda Ardern.

I heard this on the radio this morning! 12,000 lives saved! Remember when Brook from ACT said this kind of thing was bad 😬🤦‍♀️
New study shows NZ had one of the best Covid strategies in the world, with up to 12,000 lives saved during the Omicron phase alone.

It wasn’t perfect, but it was damn good.

I miss that in a leader. What we have now is exactly how Jordan describes them 3 headed taniwha.

must be totally embarrassing to even be related, it's bad enough living in the same rohe...Matua pffft that title is only reserved for people of mana not self promoting, disingenuous sellouts.

👏
National/ACT's legislation is incoherent, racist and divisive and not only can we defeat it by working together, we have a real opportunity to open people's minds about our colonial history and legacy, and actually move the needle of political discourse away from racism & white supremacy

The Unpleasantness

Hence the epitaph will be
"Ceased living due to unrequited love and unpleasantness"
Tag yourself, I'm wrist fevers.

Absolutely! thank you Mandy👏
We have to do a better job protecting young women from the trolling and brutality of politics

This is why we can’t have nice things. Can’t we just leave them to have their special day in peace? Wankers.

Shame vaxxing of the parents turned a small (nuisance) percentage of those offspring into drongos 🤣
Anti vaxxers make me laugh as they are only here because their parents were Vax for polio, diphtheria and smallpox.

Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauatamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu sign, October 1948.
The name was given by Ngāti Kere. In English, "The hilltop where Tamatea with big knees, conqueror of mountains, eater of land, traveller over land and sea, played his kōauau to his beloved".

John Campbell - the man is wise beyond his yrs. This piece strikes at the heart of everything bad bout this government & I feel pouri for rural communities, low income workers, beneficiaries, disabled. Cluxon will standby, spout boardroom rhetoric all the while throwing lighter fuel into the fire.🤬
"New Zealand First would do almost anything for a vote now. They’re as principled as a cigarette": John Campbell

This is fkn great writing. It's a long read, but don't skimp. Treat it as homework but interesting.
