At the same time Donald Trump is trying to investigate museums for having too much information about why slavery is bad, "whites only" communities are popping up in Arkansas. Coincidence?

In Texas, longtime problem with the national Dem apparatus is that they did not massively fund or support state Dems.

And now, we are where we are.

I wish the Democrats in office demonstrated even 10% of the urgency of their fundraising texts dealing with these genuinely urgent situations.

gardening is radical. gardening is resistance.

giving your neighbor some of your extra homegrown produce is resistance.

reaping the mental health benefits of tending the earth and working alongside nature is resistance.

On #MLKDay, we honor his legacy by choosing love over hate, justice over injustice, and hope over fear.

The last TikTok that loaded on my FYP had the audio
“The reason so many billionaires want to go to space is because guillotines need gravity to function.”
Maybe this is why they shut down the app.

Just a heads up for peeps, if you bought a Neil Gaiman audiobook from Audible, they are allowing refunds for them with no questions asked and no matter how long ago you bought them. I don’t even have an active subscription and they gave me credits back for two titles purchased in 2020.

Honestly think this is the more correct assessment. You can't blame a threshold number in a musical for being infinitely danceable and overplayed, but you can blame a song that fits "parthenogenesis" in its fucking chorus.

Heads up #WritingCommunity, particularly any #indie folks who might use a service like BookSirens, you may want to rethink using them…
I voiced my concern to Book Sirens about being in a SciFi promo bundle along with this book and they should review it's inclusion.
They told me I could leave the promo if I wanted to.
So is this a me problem?

North Carolina’s Atrium Health says it will forgive the debts of 11,500 people — less than a week after NBC News reported that the company has aggressively pursued former patients’ medical debts, placing liens on their homes to collect on bills.

The lien on Donna and Gary Lindabury's home for a 2009 heart surgery debt was among 11,500 wiped away by Atrium Health after an NBC News report.
