-A living wage
-Guaranteed healthcare
-The right to join a union
-The right to vote
-The right to choose when, how, and with whom you start a family
-The right for you and your family to live free from gun violence

These are the foundations of real freedom.

I want to vote for a presidential nominee who has to be talked into running. Tired of ego and ambition and “it’s their turn” bullshit. I want someone who wants to do the work and finds everything else a frustrating nuisance.

Several people have asked me to make an endorsement in the Illinois Senate Democratic primary race. I won't lie, it still feels very weird that anyone cares what I think. And tbh I ordinarily wouldn't say anything until closer to election day, but I feel this is a unique circumstance.

There have been a lot of students walking out of school to protest ICE in my area, and the number of people who don’t l think first amendment rights apply to teens is upsetting but not surprising. This country continues to repeatedly demonstrates how much it hates children.

Look. Whenever I hear "Think of the children" coming from people my automatic reaction is that someone is trying to manipulate me into supporting them in something sketchy.

You can't look at how this government funds children or children services and thinks it gives a fuck about them.

After nearly 9 decades of tracking presidential approval ratings, Gallup has decided to end their poll measuring following threats from the orange felon after showing his historically low approval ratings.

This is what cowardice and bending the knee to a tyrant looks like.

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

Now, Starbucks is lifting a cap on the CEO's use of a private jet to commute from California to Seattle.

It's been four years since Starbucks stores began unionizing and workers still don't have a contract.

Libraries.
i think it sucks that online spaces really dont have safe spaces for kids. BUT we need more public spaces for children, especially ones that dont cost money

children deserve offline spaces and community

parks arent enough, give them a government mandated laser tag pit or smth

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.
