I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.

Contrary to Trump’s grotesque, self-congratulatory press releases, he has not ended gender-affirming care for young people; rather, as the health care workers I spoke to this week made clear, hospital management, boards, and their legal advisers have ended it for him. My new story:
The Blue-State Hospitals Carrying Out Trump’s Anti-Trans Agenda
In states where gender-affirming care remains legal, some hospitals have nonetheless stopped providing it. What gives?

1. State AGs have sued Trump for intimidating providers from providing trans care.

Meanwhile, institutions are dropping trans people left and right out of fear of Trump.

Suing Trump isn't enough. State AGs MUST enforce equality laws against cowardly orgs.
