So yeah. Asking for help is not always my strong suit. My fights with the medical system and insurance have been A Thing the last few years. It has taken up a huge amount of my brain space, and trying to handle these has past the point of overwhelm.

One theme that’s starting to come up in mainstream Dem talking points is how multiple systems are irreparably broken and we have to stop focusing on temporary or stopgap solutions and actually rebuild from scratch, and this fills me with hope.

We must absolutely destroy the idea embedded within US ethos that only those who work deserve to have their needs met and an overall comfortable existence. (An idea that is only superficially and contingently believed due to the large number of people who work for horribly low wages)
No one in the United States should go hungry. I don't care if they are working or not. If a person is hungry, you give them food, full stop

When you are a new creator, whether in prose, comics, or other media, it can be very tempting to agree to every convention or other event that you're asked to do. Exposure is great, right? And it's wonderful to be wanted.
