I think the biggest thing that will cause Thread to fumble is if it’s as heavily and as bafflingly moderated as IG and Facebook.
seeing some cope from people here about the Thread launch and i think you're too far down the federated rabbit hole if you think meta doesn't have the best chance of capturing the zeitgeist of the post-twitter landscape. they're not just starting at 3rd base, they're starting 10 feet from home
