Or if there were one that the media actually waited to read and report on instead of BI’ll Barr’s lying letter
If only there were a whole report that detailed Russia’s nefarious 2016 social media campaign
The “America First” crowd was right about foreigners taking american jobs, at least as far as the job of “right wing propagandist” is concerned. If I were conservative I might do a little soul searching about being so easily manipulated but I’m sure we’ll find out why it’s really the left’s fault

Also, at this point the data they already hold is a major issue and I don’t know what the answer is to Palantir but we absolutely need one. This was needed a long time ago. When I was part of the first SV lobbying trip (which I regret) to stop SOPA it did seem then the folks we met on the Hill

Agree
The Cyber Barrons are the Robber Barons of our time.

We need more antitrust enforcement, not less, to break up their digital monopolies.

It is necessary to counter their obscene wealth, power and influence in our democracy.
A former Palantir exec just published an extortion letter in the Washington Post: Democrats must fund tech oligarchs, abandon antitrust, and create 15 deregulated corporate zones—or “lose.”

When I challenged her, she blocked me.

One fun thing is how it implicates the Attorney General, Speaker of the House and the FBI Director without any of them actually being in the emails!

DO NOT REPEAT THIS INSIGHT
Hot take: This is a Ben Bradlee-type "holy shit" story times 1,000 even though it's completely unsurprising.

Joi Ito, mentioned in the emails and forced to resign from MIT, was on the Board of, among other places, the NYT and the Macarthur Foundation.
I don't think legacy media is reading the room correctly on the Epstein Files. Many of us are asking why they have ignored this story for the last decade? Why did they dismiss all of us who were concerned that Trump might be compromised? And where is their fucking contrition and apology now?

A fascinating yarn about persistence by a modern woman and vindication, or at least understanding, of the 19th century woman whose life she unraveled. President James Monroe's daughter Eliza was a mystery and a tragedy, and to some extent a victim of her time. Gift link 🎁 wapo.st/47AzUfY
