With everything else going on, I realize this may slip through unnoticed by the mass public, but the Trump administration is deleting wide swaths of survey and medical research because it is about disfavored groups such as LGBT people and women.

There are many, many scientists who work at and are funded by the NIH who are at work for all us today, doing the science that the taxpayers have paid them to do, despite the attacks by the Trump administration. I salute them for persisting the face of a hostile work environment.

If anyone knows of any extra-help, substitute librarian or library worker jobs (especially in the Bay Area) please kindly send them my way! (:

I’ve applied to a couple of places, but either haven’t heard back or they went with someone else.

Long live libraries! ✨💚📚

We work on social learning and choice, and work broadly relevant to reward/motivation, social cognition/connection, and/or prosociality would be of interest to our group.

Yes! I ordered a few history/poli sci books last night
As the U.S. shifts into a volatile political landscape targeting critical thinking, I want to share an important reminder to the #booksky community:

The only way to preserve literature is by collecting physical copies.

I know, Kindle users, it sucks—but your digital copy can be deleted any time.
