Ok so, if we’re in a situation where some American soldiers have to be pitted against other American soldiers, what’s that called?

I really hope that works out. Historically, however — and I expect this to eventually be the case in our present crisis — the only thing that prevents soldiers from overtaking a city is other soldiers.
