No, not *that* one.
Recuperated music consultant person - have helped out with albums, books, retail, digital stuff etc.
More Marti Webb than Martin Rev.
Walked past this today.

It may seem like a bit of a career comedown, but at least he didn't make Wild Wild West and slap a guy at the Oscars.

#OnThisDay 1985 : The pilot episode of Saturday Live was broadcast on Channel 4.

It would feature the likes of French and Saunders, Robbie Coltrane and Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall and would pave the way for new series (and more!) the following year.

Have been trying to work out who Fulham midfielder Harry Wilson reminds me of, and I realise this is a little niche but it's Stella Barker of The Belle Stars.

I’ve spent this morning morbidly watching the MTV channels close down and the final songs played were:
MTV Music - Video Killed the Radio Star (Buggles)
Club MTV - Don’t Stop the Music (Rihanna)
MTV 90s - Goodbye (Spice Girls)
MTV 80s - Together in Electric Dreams (Oakey and Moroder)

Sold a CD of Joni Mitchell's Blue to Martin Gore in about 1996, very much apres the Songs Of Faith And Devotion tour. Coutts & Co credit card.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Morrisons Radio have replaced the festive numbers with, amongst other things, Psycho Killer.

(Also Say What You Want By Texas, on the hour every hour.)

Europe's "Carrie" is more memorable if you imagine he's serenading Gary instead.

I love that Smash Hits kept rolling into the Fiona Apple era. We're so obsessed with our own associations sometimes.

Hang on, didn't they re-release this one just a few years ago? I remember something about a houseboat...
Pink Floyd celebrates the 50th anniversary by giving Wish You Were Here its second super deluxe box set, one featuring the first official release of the legendary bootleg of their 1975 show at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. My review:

Switched my location to the US to read something and now I'm getting Instagram adverts for bulletproof classroom doors. Beyond parody.

Morrisons Radio this morning went a little off piste by treating the gathered throng to "Your Love" by The Outfield (1986, #6 US, #83 UK).

Hadn't heard that in, what, 39 years?

Tori Amos's version of "I Don't Like Mondays" (2001) is now older than the Boomtown Rats original was at the time (1979).
