One last interesting fact about Rena dulcis: the lower jaw is quite small relative to the upper, and ingestion is accomplished by rapid movement: "flinging" or "vacuuming" up small insects into the esophagus.
It looks like it's singing a very tiny little snake song.

If you are lamenting your inability to make art, it's worth asking yourself what you want FROM art.
Is it attention? Praise? Money? A sense of worth?--Art itself doesn't offer those, although some artists find them.

I know this has been talked about to death already but I want to talk about Chuck Close! He was known for making huge photorealistic portraits. One day at the height of his career he had a sudden seizure caused by a spinal blood clot that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

If art isn’t your wheelhouse, you could also try to look for ways to help that compliment your existing skillset.
Art isn’t easy or quick. It’s work. It’s okay if you can’t draw. You can do stuff the artists can’t do instead.

Everyone can draw, and folks will almost certainly respond more positively to your stick figures than some generic "A.i." slop.

I'm refining the morality I was unknowingly trying to articulate back then: our differences are our strength, & we all need support. I'm also removing unneeded sternness, which came from me trying to appease the sensibilities of genre gatekeepers. The editor I needed was me from the future. 💜
