If CBC radio has watched the video why can they not describe the facts about how ICE murdered a woman? Instead they quote BOTH Trump and Kristi Noem’s description before saying the state reps “disagree” but they NEVER DESCRIBE THE FACTS. They relate Trump’s lie that she was weaponizing the car.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.

Zohran just went out and fixed the Williamsburg Bridge bike entrance. Just did it. No faffing, no nonsense. Bam. Fixed.

Saw HAMNET this afternoon at Varsity. I read the book a couple years ago so was somewhat prepared for the devastation but still, like ten bricks to the face.

Many comments noting 6ixbuzz and CP24 as big factors here - 100% agree and would add, the continued ban of legit news links on FB is another factor.
I know the normal answer is that *well, people feel unsafe*

Okay, fine. But if cities are getting safer but residents think the opposite, why? Is this the fault of tabloid media and tub-thumping politicians? The by-product of an aging and possibly more fearful population? Something else?
