#PatrickWymark, #GeoffreySasse and #AnthonyQuayle in THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR (July 1955). Wymark played the jovial Host of the Garter Inn. On 2nd October 1955, the BBC screened a telerecording of the Stratford production. This would be 29 year old Wymark's TV debut.

What is the role of Chief of Staff to the PM, how did it arise and what is the difference with other key roles in No10?

It is my opinion - and I have to be very careful what I say here for boring reasons - is that a move towards extracts rather than packages trails might not be a terrible thing again, because three extracts which change every week is better in some cases than running the same trail for three weeks.

Watching FRAUD SQUAD: 'The Martin Kessel File' (1970) and #RalphNossek says to #PatrickOConnell "Look, why don't you log off..." Coming from a pre-computer age it sounds anachronistic but it was obviously in use back then.

Last night, watching New Captain Scarlet Shape shifter episode on ITVX, Captain Scarlet gets graphically shot and chucked in a swamp. The adverts come on for cuddly pink puppy toys and lego pandas. Episode continues with him rising from a shallow grave. Not sure who they think is watching this.
