Listing for the episode "Nowhere for the Kids" from Series 2 of LWT's prison drama "Within These Walls", 24th January 1975. Curiously this episode is missing and it's uncertain how it happened with all other episodes of the show's five series in existence, possibly a case of accidental wiping.

A great watch tonight. 'Where the Action Is', with Edd Byrnes playing a suave, almost Bond-like character, Eddie Vallance. A completely different feel to last week's episode. #BrianClemensThriller rings the changes once again & delivers another fresh & thoroughly entertaining 65-minutes.

Reading the chapter in @martinmauthor1.bsky.social's book on how 'The Thrillers' package netted ITC $20-million in the first 8 months, selling to US stations. I bet many of them didn't realise it was the same series that some of them had finished repeating only a year earlier. #BrianClemensThriller.

My rewatch of #BrianClemensThriller this evening is all about gambling, & with very high stakes. Here's the London area TV Times billing from Saturday 8th February 1975, with viewers in the captial (including me) getting to see the episode at least an hour ahead of the rest of the UK.

Where does 'Killer with Two Faces' fall on my radar? Well, it was among the first of LWT's in 1981 & I didn't video-record it, something I later regretted. I then had to make an extra effort to try to get it recorded from another region. Success came with the Anglia broadcast. #BrianClemensThriller.

"Who Killed Lamb?" from the same producers was included as an extra on the Thriller box set and maybe ideally this would have joined it. Gerald Sim was also in this and just two days later appeared in "Once the Killing Starts".

A rewatch tonight of another classic #BrianClemensThriller. This week 'The Next Scream You Hear' originally broadcast on ITV on Sat 6th July 1974. The US publicity promotes Christopher George as the star. However it is Dinsdale Landen as the very witty but likeable Matthew Earp who steals the show.
