Folks, the boy with the flying ears made it outside for his first ever walk! He's a big boy now allowed on the ground! (Still not sure exactly when he's heading to his forever family, but I'm really really glad I got to foster this milestone.)

This little guy got a family cleared for adoption today so I’m very likely saying goodbye very soon, and while “goodbye is the goal” with fostering, and this is good news for him and his new family, I’m still also very very sad for Cosmo and I 😔

This is the second time I got to hold a three-day-old human, my second godson/nephew person (who I met at nine months old), and while I remain steadfast in my aversion to being a parent, I adore and will do anything for this child, and everything else in my life will be okay.
