It’s really funny to take this angle. Broadview is a town of 8,000. It’s literally only known for the detention center and the Target. Most suburbs don’t have residency rules so I’d imagine not even the Broadview cops are from Broadview. Everyone’s an out of towner!
Broadview's mayor keeps calling the protesters "out of towners." Every time we are there, we talk to people from the town on the front lines.
(Also this is a tiny town y'all, it's reasonable for someone in like...Brookfield or Melrose Park to feel like this is their community as well!)

I’ve been in one accident in my life (knock on wood): I was headed to class at UIC and some asshole delivery truck driver blew through a red light and t boned me, luckily passenger side but my car (ford escort gt) was totaled.

The console war is over and nobody cares where they play their games anymore so there isn’t the intense tribalism that makes losers do the marketing for Sony for free anymore. That’s my theory anyway. That and there haven’t been enough exclusives.
