Jeez. Trump actually just said it. He actually just said that Ukraine shouldn't have started this war! He’s actually siding with a crazed, murderous dictator

If anyone had any doubts as the where Elon's loyalties lie.

The UK also an outlier on strength of pro-Ukraine and Putin-opposition over the conflict - in seeing it is solely/very strongly Russia being to blame

With the horror stories of the negative impacts that DOGE is creating due to its slash and burn approach I do wonder if Elon is being set up as the scapegoat.

Not that I have sympathy mind you.

When looking at the anti Ukraine posters on X, they all seem to have been created since Feb 2022 or are right wing.

Russia and China block western social media channels and yet we seemingly allow their propaganda to flourish.

I suspect history will view this as our mistake.

One could sense the change at the time, it basically became Trump's propaganda channel.
1/ X's algorithm was changed in mid-July 2024 to systematically boost Republican-leaning accounts and Elon Musk's own account following his endorsement of Donald Trump, according to a newly released computational study of engagement from the Queensland University of Technology.⬇️

Lots of serious articles about how different countries face tough challenges from Trump, not least in his unpredictability. Silly to think of the UK as special in any regard towards the US right now. And while all will inevitably talk, we're also all on our own to find solutions.

X is getting toxic but for me BlueSky still lacks a needed feature, group chat.

Now that the dust has settled on the civil unrest that swept UK in the last month, I think it’s a better time to start attempting to draw some conclusions on what the public think about its causes, who is responsible and how the government did…🧵

I noticed that unlike Twitter, blocking someone doesn't drop their follow when you unblock them, it was a handy way of clearing unwanted follows on Twitter.
