Good morning from these cutie patooties
What’s the feeling of mixed frustration and validation when you end up being right about something people argued against? Surely there’s a German word for this

Me: the issue looks like XYZ, same thing as a few months ago
Them: no way, we fixed XYZ

20 min later
Them: so the issue was XYZ

I mean this with all sincerity - do most cities/counties not have emergency comms systems outside of social media?

I get text messages and recorded calls/voicemails from the county, our current city, and even the city we lived in 9 years ago for winter storms, plowing, heat warnings, etc

Please send all the love, good vibes, and prayers to 16yo on his first day at a real job today 😬

Supposed to start at 8:30, the owner didn’t show up until 9, which didn’t help with him being nervous

It’s the United State of Minnesota, bebe!

Dfl it’s go time.
If so, it is time to start crafting some cool-ass laws. What a time to be a state legislator or an AG in a blue state. The Supreme Court just said you no longer have a boss. It's the last day of school, Democratic state majorities and AGs! Time to abuse some power.

The left better start figuring out how to weaponize today's decision rather than just (rightfully) criticizing it.

- Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders.

- Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

This is a great idea—I hope the legislature will approve the plan. Minnesota’s state parks are a real treasure.

Also, you can check out a park pass from @hclib.bsky.social for a week and get access to any state park in Minnesota for the low cost of your library membership (free.)

Idk why I write explicitly detailed and easy to read emails when nobody bothers to read beyond the first sentence

Why are you calling me with a question I answered RIGHT THERE in the email you’re asking me about

In my experience in the work force — and this is admittedly subjective! — people like days off from work.
Trump just posted that there are too many non-working holidays.

“The workers don't want it either!”

A reminder that VLN’s clinic can help if you would like assistance getting your passport updated (and, while I am almost certainly not your lawyer, it is probably a good idea to consider doing so now):

Almost one full week of fostering two very tiny kittens. The shelter originally thought 4ish weeks only to later realize they were barely 3 weeks old

They’re still bottle fed every 4 hours (and will let us know like clockwork when they’re hungry). I’ve also learned they need to burp afterwards 🥹
