Good concept but tough to do. Some states are passing laws requiring local police to assist ICE. And some states are set up so that local governments only have powers explicitly granted to them by the state which would make any kind of ordinance like this unlikely.

At Valerie Foushee’s Town Hall and she’s saying the solution to the Trump admin is to get Republicans to vote to fund EPA and NIH but in the next breath talking about how DOGE is firing everyone and Trump is ignoring court orders. So how does budget reconciliation solve anything???
