House Democrats will not give up the fight for affordable health care.

We will not rubber stamp Republicans' extreme premium hikes.

We will not help them fund billionaire tax cuts with your money.

We will not back down.

Not now. Not ever.

We’re rotting brains. Not even giving young people a reasonable start. Babies born looking into an iPhone instead of their mother’s face. Swiping and clicking instead of coloring. Hearing instead of reading. Watching instead of making. No struggle, no learning, no mastery over material things.
We already see literally this *exact* same claim from adults engaged in pseudoarchaeological content - that humans could not have [done whatever they're focusing on]. I worry about how difficult education on the past will become as kids who believe this begin to take notice of adults in popular

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

A reshare from Sabrina Guerra (Neuroclastic 2022)

When the rights of abled people take precedence over those of disabled people, our great shame is evident, and we must not consider ourselves a modern, progressive society.

Republican politicians' budget bill, the Big Ugly Law, gives tax breaks to private jet owners.

Yes, it makes private jets fully tax-deductible.

It’s clear who Republican politicians are working for… and it ain’t you.

Sandwich verdict wasn’t jury nullification. It was failure to prove the required “reasonable fear of physical injury” in a case where the agent was wearing A BULLETPROOF VEST. The only crime was the waste of resources on this case. My thoughts in @MSNBCDaily.

Opinion | The sandwich thrower was wrong. But Jeanine Pirro was, too.
To establish a forcible assault, jurors were required to find that Dunn caused “reasonable apprehension of immediate bodily harm.” That allegation was laughable.
