I don't know how you could read a segment like the one pairing the way she refused to speak to police with the song she wrote where she positions herself as the ultimate victim in all this, and come away thinking it's trying to cover for her. If anything it lets her hang herself w her own words.
Read the Gaiman story twice. My current impression is that it’s a rehab piece for Amanda Palmer. Might have other thoughts later but atm I’m just pissed about how they centered her as a person without much agency who was tied to a sex pest.
