Gonna be critical of NY new mayor for a lil bit. One-side dimple is ok, it just adds interest. However, Mamdani is the first dimpled person I know of whose dimple is on his high cheek bone. That's weird, right?

A reminder that many health care providers stopped offering gender affirming care this summer when the administration subpoenaed their records, and when the mere threat of loss of medicare funding was floated. The effects of this are already here.
This is a public health crisis and cis people acting like it isn’t because it targets trans children primarily (even though it will affect cis children too!!) is nasty business

Once again, New Mexico is the only state in the union with a majority female legislature.
Our broken child care system can learn a lot from New Mexico - the state that is leading the way in guaranteeing free child care for all.

I'd happily host the tattooed mom next door and her two kids. She makes a living cleaning houses for 11-12 hours a day. I bet she would be an excellent houseguest and maybe teach me a new recipe.
