I’ve seen the list of the top ten password choices in the UK (& I remember the whole ‘put the security code on the entry keypad at the National Cybersecurity Centre’ debacle), I reckon ‘Louvre’ is pretty good compared to ‘1234567890’, ‘password’ and ‘football’

[spoilers] This is my argument about ‘The Rose Field’ & the number of people saying “I hated the ending, it sucked, I already know the world is like this.” (Sorry, I looked at Reddit) The ending of The Rose Field is not “HURRAH, EVIL IS VANQUISHED, BUNS FOR TEA!” It’s that things that comfort &
I write middle-grade whodunnits, so you might want to dismiss my opinion out of hand. But I think cosy games/crime sometimes miss the fact that blankets are only cosy when it's cold outside. A world without conflict / a story without stakes isn't cosy, it's just safe.
We need to talk about the cozyfication of games because it’s a serious disease, possibly as bad as the edgyfication of the 90s and the grittyfication of the 00s.

I just finished The Rose Field, & one thought occurs to me: the social model of disability follows that it is only the shape of the world we build that determines what is disability & what isn’t. Is the world we live in human shaped? Does it nurture things humans need to be human? Or something else?
