Roy Brooks - The Free Slave. This is an album I've been after for some time, and this recent reissue sounds superb. Brooks was a great drummer, and the whole band is on fire on this.

Fun facts: Ramones actually played at Memorial Arena 1990 (weird) and Rob Wright saw T. Rex & Blue Oyster Cult there too. Horrible cavernous sounding ice rink venue - that said, Motörhead still sounded amazing, even from outside when we were late for their set, argh!
