Picked an album from the Bowie section at random. This will do nicely.

Keith Jarrett - Facing You. A wooberful album of solo piano by a master musician.

Everything But The Girl - Baby, The Stars Shine Bright.

Anthony Phillips - The Geese & The Ghost. Another record that hasn't been played in many a day, mainly due to the scratch that spoils the first couple of minutes of Side 1. Apart from that, a pleasant listen.

Wings - London Town. Haven't played this for yonks. Middling McCartney. Some fab tunes, some terrible lyrics.

Pete Atkin - Driving Through Mythical America.

Can got Malcolm Mooney back in the fold for their final album. Not their best by any means, but there is some good stuff on here. I found this ex-library copy in a charity shop for a quid.

Good evening. I've spent much of the day trying to break into a safe. So glad I didn't choose a life of crime. All Good Clean Fun is much more my style.

For some reason I've been thinking about my first job as a lab technician in the 70s and some of the madness that went on. If it was a sitcom it would have been something like Nightingales.

Barclay James Harvest - Live Tapes. I prefer their first live album (more of their early stuff, especially the epic Summer Soldier/Medicine Man) but this one's pretty good.

If only the rest of this album was as good as the title track.

Osibisa - Woyaya. Uplifting music for a dreary Thursday afternoon.

Kicking off this afternoon's listening with Dance With Death by Andrew Hill. A great album by a Jazz master.

I'm on a bit of a Blue Aeroplanes kick at the moment. One of the great British guitar bands. This is a splendid sampler of their time with Ensign Records.

It's arrived! It's great to have this piece of musical history at last. One gripe: the packaging. I doubt if the box could be any more flimsy. Anyway, I'm listening to the first disc now, and it sounds great (of course).
