Apple bet big on a dramatic redesign of its iPhone last year, the biggest shakeup to its flagship smartphone in nearly a decade. But the slimmer iPhone Air hasn’t seemed to resonate with buyers. https://cnn.it/4a2bpsb

I'm going to die on the hill that "Trump" accounts are a net positive and it's embarrassing that previous administrations haven't been able to get support for a child savings or investment account that immediately gifts funds to the newborn upon opening it.

It's not worth playing this video to hear the narcissism, but anyone who knocks the idea of gifting every newborn American $1,000 for their future is just being obtuse. This would be good no matter what president or administration it came from.

Prime time showings of Melania opening night at three major theaters in Chicago and one near my deeply red home town in Ohio.

A $75 million donation to the Trump family ego. As a film lover, I truly don’t know if I’ve ever seen a film flop this hard so early.

I’m sure we’ll get more clarity tomorrow on the Ilhan Omar attack, but this looks a bit like Aqua Regia (hydrochloric acid and nitric acid) which can cause burns and is highly corrosive.

You can buy the ingredients at places like Home Depot and Temu.

This dude rocks. Nothing like being out in the community and using his platform to promote local businesses.
The campaign trail has me all over the 9th District. One major upside is I get to learn about new food spots like the Sub Shop in Algonquin, a local favorite.

I’ll definitely be stopping in when warmer weather returns and I’m back on my biking trips through McHenry County!

The idea that the country would look any different with Tom Homan in charge instead of Greg Bovino is laughable. Watch a single Tom Homan clip!

DHS is a disastrous kludgy mess created in the panicked aftermath of 9/11 and it has not for a minute of its existence made “the homeland” more secure

it should absolutely be dismantled
Amid growing calls for the abolition of ICE, Rep. Delia Ramirez is calling for the entire DHS to be dismantled. Highlighting how much experience the officers who killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti had, Ramirez said, “DHS was built to violate our rights and has been empowered to act with impunity.”
House Democrat Says Abolishing ICE Isn’t Enough — DHS Must Go, Too
“The problem isn’t ‘training.’ DHS was built to violate our rights,” said Rep. Delia C. Ramirez.

Dude owns himself by excusing the 91 days the president has used his taxpayer dollars golfing during this term and instead spends mental energy being pissed at people who are more like him than our billionaire overlord ever could be.
We were talking about illegals getting SNAP benefits. This is the last response. 5hese people are SO lost.
Golf????

Golf trips king?

Thoughts on the 70M+ for golf?

Seriously, what have folks been doing for the last 13 years specifically in the 8th district, but more broadly in New York state??

Median net worth of West Virginians - $96,700
Median household income - $57,900
Net worth of James C. Justice, WV Senator - $664.3 MILLION

West Virginia is one of the 5 poorest states in the country.
The median household net worth of Americans is somewhere around $195,000.

Over 100 members of congress have a net worth of 10M+.

330 have a net worth of at least 1M.

I don't know about y'all, but something about that doesn't really feel "representative democracy" to me.

I understand wealth doesn't automatically exempt a person from having best interests in one's constituents, but how can one truly understand their constituency and seek the BEST legislation to resolve issues such as affordability and living wages when they're completely removed from the experience?

There REALLY should be recourse allowed by @bsky.app for block lists that you're added to.

I'm on lists labeling me as a "pedo 2 block" that accuses me of protecting Jesse Singal (had that loser blocked since day one) and "right wing turd" for spouting right wing slop (I'm inarguably leftist.)

A lot of Democrats need to really look inward and ask themselves why they weren’t paying attention to our Immigration system, ICE, and CBP BEFORE November 2024.

Our immigration system is largely the same one we’ve had for 102 years, save for an update in 1965 and heads up- it’s GROSSLY OUTDATED.

This isn’t him “choking.” This is a centrist politician who doesn’t actually have a problem with ICE and voted to bankroll their terror for over a decade under previous administrations.
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.
Senate Democrats plot strategy as DHS standoff deepens heading into shutdown week
