Serious question: if the #republican budget cuts to #Medicare and #Medicaid go into effect, would some US medical residency positions be at risk of being cut? It's my understanding that residency positions are funded from federal, state, and institutional dollars #MedicalResidency #MedicalTraining

Another free idea for the @democrats.org:

Set up a website that archives pre-Trump government resources/websites and keeps them updated with new, reliable info. Every time this trash happens, point people to THAT website.

Don't just whine. ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE. You have ENORMOUS power.
This move to try to erase transgender people from the Stonewall Monument is cruel, pathetic, and historically inaccurate.

Trans New Yorkers played a critical role in the events at Stonewall and in the movement for equality that it inspired.

Detroit’s community-led violence intervention program cut homicides nearly in half — but funding is running out.

State lawmakers failed to renew ShotStoppers, and with federal dollars drying up, Detroit could lose a key tool against gun violence. @thetrace.org

In 2024, homicide numbers in Detroit were the lowest they’ve been since 1965. Organizers say that is widely due to a program that reduced year-over-year homicides by 45% in the areas it was implemented. Activists worry their progress will be halted if the initiative loses funding under Trump

Tell your senators to do their jobs:

Vote no on all nominees
Refuse a quorum
Call for quorum checks
Object to unanimous consent requests

Be LOUD about why they are doing this and demand a stop to the coup.
