I’m pretty sure the first 20 minutes of Alex Garland’s prequel to “Civil War” will just be a reply of the “event” Trump adjust meld with military leadership. Some pretty fucking terrifying things were uttered.

It’s insane that we made it this far along without these ideas being promulgated into an enforceable set of ethics regs (or even a just a set of internally embraced norms within SCOTUS).
One of my Supreme Court reform takes is they should be completely barred from taking any outside income (incl. publishing deals) and it should be particularly frowned upon, normatively, to be writing books. Memoirs are for writing after you retire, not five years into a lifetime appointment.
