still thinking about last night. Shanahan went for it on fourth and short, constantly. I think his insight-- right or wrong-- was that against a good defense that's giving you short gains but limiting explosives you can shift the math radically by giving yourself four downs.

Let's you know you're not alone even if you feel alone and hopeless. Re-energizes the fight for those people drained by ineffective elected officials shirking their duty. And reminds the powers that be that Americans aren't gonna just let them take the country without pushback
Can I ask, what did the No Kings protest actually accomplish? I mean, in real terms, what have these protests materially changed? I can't help but feel these one off protests are merely a heatsink for energy and anger rather than a path for meaningful change and disruption of the system.
