In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Another update: the GCC TPUSA was forced to issue a statement denouncing Emilio Martinez and his anti-LGBTQ+ speech on campus. The chapter claims Emilio is not affiliated with/the group. Photo evidence suggests otherwise…

Here in Ventura County it’s just creepy Andrews from Godspeak Calvary Chapel in their late 20s at Moorpark College. The college kiddies then amp up the narrative of the day — few sign ups, on social media so even creepier old ladies like Deb Baber and Colby VanVolkinburg Rompal can hit like.

Update on the local GCC TPUSA chapter: it’s currently being used by middle aged republicans party operatives, 2 of whom have spent most days recently “tabling” (aka trying to make content out of confrontations with mostly teenaged students) and actual students are not happy.

ICE has been raiding my neighborhood and surrounding ones for the last couple of weeks now. They commandeered my local church (against the pastor's will) for a staging site and raided supermarkets, parks, Goodwills, bus stops, you name it.

LAPD found another way to defund the city, this time by trying to overhire officers beyond their hiring budget. The decision could cost the city $3.56 million in $ it doesn't have, and the councilmembers on the Budget and Finance Committee weren't too happy about it
