The government has fully endorsed the notion of asylum seekers as a dire threat to the country, so the failure of their own plans is largely their own fault, as is (more importantly) the increasing risk of serious violence
Anyone forced to live at this camp will be rightly terrified for their safety. Impossible to see how anyone, let alone vulnerable and traumatised people, can properly be housed there now

Seriously, folks, people did NOT vote for murder on the streets. A majority of those who voted went for Trump, and to win power, those against Trump will have to win many of them over, not reject them all as people who want fascism.
