Scoring systems and how they look to me:
- 1-5 = you hate the system but you know people want it
- 1-10 = not rdy for 1-5 but your nearly there
- 1-100 = born before 1980
- X.Y like 6.7 = you can't explain your thoughts behind your choice and you probably hate me and I hate you.

Nintendo's deal is copying Disney. It's why they tell stories about how Zelda was inspired by Miyamoto exploring caves as a child instead of just copying Tower of Druaga, for instance. It's why they refuse to talk about other studios. They want to lock you in from childhood and create disney adults.
Anyways I visited the Nintendo museum last year- seeing its history in perspective made me realize games are more of a means to an end for them - IP development in the hopes of becoming a Disney. They had some artistic streaks in 80s-00s but I think it's mostly gone now in favor of growing more
