“Pregnant people cannot get the MMR vaccine, and immunocompromised people may not be able to receive it, which makes it all the more important for those who can be vaccinated to get it, therefore increasing herd immunity and decreasing the risk of community spread”
Measles is on the rise in North America, which increases unvaccinated people’s risk of being exposed to the disease.
