As soon as a UK government of any party appoints a brown female politician as a Home Secretary my heart sinks because I know the only way she has reached that position is a willingness to cheerlead the most racist , cruel inhumane policies that no senior white male MP would dare to announce.

Trump - the king of fake news and hypocrite extraordinaire - has the gall to welcome someone else’s resignation… we’re talking about a man convicted of rape and of tax fraud - who did not resign and never would. Incredible. And btw, I resent his interference in our media and our country.

Attacking a synagogue on Yom Kippur is a shockingly vile act of antisemitism. My thoughts are with the Jewish community. We must stand together to defend the right of people to practice their faith without being subjected to hatred and discrimination

So did American taxpayers foot a cash bribe to an admin official?

Does he get to keep it?

Does this count on his GS pay scale?

Assuming he declares it, is it regular income or capital gains?

Can a state prosecute for fraud?
The thing about the first time the FBI catches you on camera receiving a $50,000 bribe is it's definitely not the first time you've received a $50,000 bribe.

@nelsonrarebooks.com smuggling books Via Canada is looking increasingly attractive. Or maybe since books are zero rated a weekly aggregation service for dealers to create shared shipments to US?

I have invented a new game ask AI a simple academic question get a simple answer demand text book reference then get the Ai to admit that its first answer was wrong as were the text books life is just more complicated . Just done this with price elasticity of demand. and I'm not even bored.

As an economist I know you cannot cut your way out of debt. Instead, you have to grow.

We tried austerity for 14 years and it left us with low growth and crumbling public services.

This high investment government will grow the economy and lower the debt burden.
