I wish that Llama was an outlier chat GPT denied any references in the short form catalogue even when given the index keys. "AI" was better for basic research assistance two or three iterations back but "improvements" have made it virtually unusable.

Simple only if a coven of neighbourhood cats and a two hour incantation can be considered simple

An exchange with Llama 4 Scout, I know that William Pudsey is the attributed Author to two books written c1689 but believe this attribution is wrong. Thus seeking proof that I am wrong (proving a negative is a pain)I would have expected at least 2 references to the English short form catalogue

As one of the randos I learnt two important things:
1 how to build an arial
2 how Interferometry allows 2 or more radio telescopes to mimic a much larger telescope albeit with reduced sensitivity and much higher processing requirements

In the Sixties high schools in Manchester were building radio telescopes (chicken wire frames and Yagi) to feed info to Jodrell Bank radio telescope for Interferometry use. covastro.org.uk/wp-content/u...

Just to be clear I operate on muti million record files TB's of data. My working pc backs up to a raided NAS and that backs up to the cloud in real time Lightning strike and I would be up and running on a new machine in 2-4 hours, this is just bollocks

20 years ago system crashes were common part of my 5 machine business set up might crash 2-3 times a year. I used mirrored servers so if one went there would be no loss. In todays world I haven't had a systems crash in 7 years occasional windows / Linux lock ups I haven't lost any data in 20 yrs

I would get out my copy of The Munich Manual of Demonic Magic (ISBN 9798395463586 for the modern English reprint available from all good(?) bookshops) to make sure I got it right

bought wife glove leashes like these, lots of brands about since she hasn't lost gloves in a year. Idea is that they are tied to coat so cant be left in bookshops (her favourite) or anywhere else. A modern version of idiot mittens

in one of my previous existences I worked with DEFRA (Department of environment, farming and rural affairs) major function was identification recording and subsidising hedges as major sources of diversity. Wife not happy about the rural affairs.

in my experience on meadow land 1-1.5 acres per full size horse 0.5-0.75 for a pony and no more than 0.25 acres for a Shetland, those little buggers get fat sucking air. May need more space to properly exercise, poorer grazing requires more space or supplementary feeding.
