What the actual *?! The White House has designated Mr. Musk’s office, the United States DOGE Service, as an entity protected from public records requests and most judicial intervention until at least 2034, by classifying its documents as presidential records.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

Democratic & Republican lawmakers should immediately seek an injunction from the federal courts to stop this pillage.

Call your senators and representatives in Congress and tell them you don’t want Musk messing with your Social Security or anything else. That number, is 202-224-3121.

FAA says a military helicopter collided with the American Airlines passenger jet from Wichita near DCA.

There must be immediate hearings on how the federal government/Department of Defense allowed this to happen and if removal of safety protocols and recent personnel changes led to this incident.

The price of eggs in the US is spiking, mostly due to #H5N1 bird flu. Solving the problem requires urgent, important communications from the CDC & FDA* and rapid development of research by the NIH**

Egg prices are soaring again. Here’s why and what to expect
Bird flu has killed millions of hens in recent weeks, shrinking the supply of eggs and hiking up prices at grocery stores.

8F pup pee pep talk “okay, you're gonna go out there and squat and let loose, decorate the snow, water the grass, make it rain -- no digging in the snow, no wandering around sniffing until you freeze, no staring at me to do tricks with you, just out, pee, and we go back in. Proof I’m on my phone too much: Adora will jump out of my lap with excitement when she hears me close my little pop handle thing on the back of my phone case to set it down.

… yeah, revisiting my ScreenZen settings for sure.

Woke up with a migraine & 30 minute nosebleed, read the Vulture article, almost threw up, found all his books to recycle as mixed paper, a wooden bookend fell off top shelf directly onto my left foot, yelled in pain, scared the dog into shaking (comforted dog).

I should just go back to bed, right?

A few fast Adora facts:
- my 1st dog (after 30 years of waiting)
- rescued hoarding survivor
- mostly Mini Poodle and American Eskimo Dog
- VERY clever (she got the poodle sass, energy & wit!)
- loves dogs/cats but anxious with new humans
- cuddle queen once she trusts you
- has my heart in her paws

Sometimes you’re grateful to your dog for heartfelt, deep, genuinely thoughtful reasons.

Other times you’re grateful to your dog for not eating the dead frozen mouse carcass that they found on your walk before you realized what it was to call them away. 🙃
