The finale of the great TV comedy show Blackadder goes Forth.
Back then I didn't expect one of the funniest programmes ever to end with a scene that makes me cry every time I see it.
Every single time.

The reason that the Wile E Coyote movie was shelved is that audiences would be confused about how he was alive in the movie, after in the TV show he fell down a ravine then an anvil landed on his head and then he got blown up by dynamite.

Not unnaturally, many elevators imbued with intelligence and precognition became terribly frustrated with the mindless business of going up and down, up and down, experimented briefly with the notion of going sideways, as a sort of existential protest

Watching #RayHarryhausen films as a kid on tv, I became completely dedicated to finding out what the Harpies' faces looked like, to the point of pressing my face up against the screen, at which point the picture just broke up into dots. Classic Monster Kid behaviour. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vxM...

Watched The Monster Club (1981). One of the last of many British horror anthology films with big names, hosted by a horror legend. Vincent Price was 3rd choice after Cushing & Lee turned it down but he suits it well. The stories however seem more 60s than 80s, but are camp fun.
