Amazon Prime just dropped the first trailer for its upcoming series Spider-Noir, which features Nicolas Cage as a classic detective with Spidey-senses. https://bit.ly/4rHY6El

Watched Willy's Wonderland (2021) Despite not speaking the entire movie, Nic Cage is at his most Nic Cage. It's also a better film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's than Five Nights at Freddy's, yet also a classic Man With No Name western.

So let me get this straight. Our leader might resign because of revelations from the Epstein files that he isn’t even mentioned in, but the US leader is mentioned THOUSANDS of times and the American political system is more interested in someone singing at a sports game?

Rewatched Bubba Ho-Tep (2002). Such a completely out there film and Bruce Campbell at his best outside of Evil Dead. The best film about an aging Elvis & a black JFK fighting a cowboy Mummy feeding on care home residents' life force ever made.

R.E. last repost about The Muppets. I loved the Muppets as a kid and I still do. I haven't watched the new show yet but when I rewatched the original a few years back I was amazed at how many adult jokes there were that went completely over my head as a kid. I'm glad to hear that tradition remains.

What's the point of a company asking you if you want to opt out of certain reminders if they're just going to recheck every year or so?
No MoonPig, I am still not interested in hearing about Mother's Day cards this year or any year.

Discworld QOTD, from The Light Fantastic

“Not for the first time she reflected that there were many drawbacks to being a swordswoman, not least of which was that men didn't take you seriously until you'd actually killed them, by which time it didn't really matter anyway.”
Discworld QOTD, from Small Gods

“It's hard to explain," said Brutha. "But I think it's got something to do with how people should behave... you should do things because they're right. Not because gods say so. They might say something different another time.”

Can anyone help?

Sean Hughes had a routine (or maybe it was in an episode of Sean's Show) where a thug forces him to withdraw cash from an ATM... can anyone help identify where I can find this or did I imagine it?

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.
