My best advice for parents re: harmful content: show genuine interest in the stuff your kid is watching and doing online.
Let them talk your ear off about Minecraft and Roblox and the funny video they just watched. Make them feel excited to share with you, vs making them feel ashamed or judged

I really had been feeling decent about season 3 of #StrangeNewWorlds compared to most, but that finale was… something. I give this series a lot of suspension of disbelief for the sake of it being fun and kinda campy but this was where I finally had to go “holy hell this is just stupid/terrible.”

This is a good point actually. I work with AI daily for software dev and it NEVER says “I don’t know” even when it has no context, and rarely asks clarifying questions (some models are better than others), instead it goes “I see the issue! Here’s the final version: [insert 8th incorrect solution]”
A little solace for the Anti AI crowd. The greatest weakness of AI is its inability to say “I don’t know”.
