still thinking about this article today. so many societal ills are caused by people white-washing what actually happens. it's awful to see games do it too.

can't wait for cozy domestic violence simulator or cozy kkk simulator
a wholesome plane has hit the second cozy tower
more like no thoughts to declare

I have designed a new Pomodoro technique

Work on a porch in the sunshine with no electrical outlet. Everytime it runs out of battery, get up and stretch, return it to its charger, and grab the other laptop

Non-mimetic content is not too saucy for children
Woke up to quite the update on this. I had been in contact with Payment Cloud about getting their service and they waited until now to hit me with the image below. Again, stringing me along instead of being upfront. They had seen my website multiple times before this.

Another concept I created for Peculiar Path's solarpunk project, this one exploring the interior of a potentially transformed cruise ship. At this point we wanted a wonky, DIY, scrappy feel to everything, but still with an aura of hope and excitement and possibility.

"A literary text is a machine for producing possible worlds"
Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

Ok - what if you made a game in stages. RPG, avatar creation but nothing too zany, matched up with 15 people. Stage 1 you're given a collaborative project to complete, some tasks require 2-3 people to accomplish. Sort of Among Us, but challenging enough to distract you from knowing Stage 2 is coming
"Battle royale" games have defined the last decade. They lack the anti-fascist message of Koushun Takami's novel, though, and the significance of how its schoolyard cliques and anxieties persist even as kids are forced to kill each other, @midimyers.com writes. www.endlessmode.com/video-games/...
Battle Royale Adaptations Are Missing What Made the Novel Great
The battle royale genre has dominated games for a decade, but none of them seem to understand the Koushun Takami novel that inspired them.

Don't know where my narrative will land yet, so I'm casting the dumbest, widest net

For sure:
- archives
- narratology and possible worlds
- interface games

?:
- northern Ontario history
- history of human expression, prehistory to contemporary 🙄
- organic, astrophysical and geologic anomalies
- Cryptids 🦋
- History of witches/witchcraft 🪄
- Kalashtar species from D&D 🧝

And thinking of possibly researching how to edit audio. But tempering that until I have more time/spell slots to throw at it.
What are you currently RESEARCHING for projects you are working on? I've a few things on the go and here's some of mine:

- Scary mountain stories ⛰️
- Lyrebird mimicry & Peacock tail feathers 🦚
- The 1381 Peasant's Revolt 👑
- Wolf folklore/mythology (for more than one project...) 🐺

Imagine reading Trevor Henderson’s amazing middle grade novel SCAREWAVES: BEYOND THE GRAVE and discovering this pleasant surprise at the vury vury end… Trevor is such an endless source of inspiration for me, personally, that I can’t help but get a little misty-eyed over this. Truly an honor.
