France has critical regional interests in French Guiana. It has also helped Guyana deter Venezuela.
Britain was included despite its denials (Trinidad and Tobago, wink-wink).
France will complain, but Europeans want the oil from Venezuela to offset Russian oil. So, I expect only angry rhetoric.
