In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.

Sad to see big outlets like Eurogamer and GameSpot still stuck in the social media trap of framing everything in ways that'll anger the maximum number of people. Scrolling Facebook is just an endless series of hastily made images that all pretty much say "YOU CAN'T PAUSE IN CALL OF DUTY."

My daughter installed Mario Party onto the Switch 2 and now she's just sitting in a corner saying "I'm bad at this game" every few minutes. Not sure when to let her off the hook and say "no, you're not the problem here, it's this garbage-ass video game's fault."
